I don’t usually go for Indo food but the food here tasted really similar to the ones I’ve tried in Batam previously. The Ayam penyet was good but meat was slightly on the drier side! I think the beef bakso soup was really nice, very decent dinner spot if you’re craving Indonesian cuisine!

Our all time favourite restaurant:))) the Ayam Bakar is the best I ever had so far. Original fried duck is a must order each time we eat there.

Went to this restaurant for a quick early lunch with my neighbor. While I ordered the grilled duck, she chose the fried duck. I could notice the smoky flavor for the grilled duck. It was tasty, but it’s more on the sweet side as grilled duck normally served. I just think it would be best if they marinated the duck with some spices like coriander, candlenut, and turmeric. It’d be more flavorful instead of just relying on sweet soy sauce. As for the fried duck, my neighbor said it was okay, but a bit lack of saltiness coz the original fried duck from surabaya is supposed to be slightly salty. Lastly, we enjoyed the sambal. I personally love sambal kecap mixed with sambal belacan. It balanced the sweetness and spiciness from both sambals. Overall, everything was tasty. Price wise, it’s on the steep side. For a quick fix, when you miss Indonesian dish, I think this restaurant is still worth to visit.

🦆 @bebekgorengpakndut_sg offers indonesian penyat dishes and I finally got to try their Bebek Goreng Original (original crispy fried duck)! The bebek goreng was tender and relatively easy to debone and it goes so well with their original chili. But at $11.90, the amount of meat is really little compared to the amount of bones. 🥚 Thankfully I ordered the tahu telur to go alongside with it, and it was so well-layered and the dark sauce was so flavorful! Will be back to try their ayam penyat and hopefully get myself full that next round 🥹

Had a splendid experience dining in at the Westgate outlet. Service was on the ball. Kuddos to your staff named Zan for attending to my needs with a face full of smile and polite tone. A good staff is never easy to come by🥰 Would definitely bringing my family to come back for a return. Great dining experience!
