Beef Bro at Hillion Mall

We had the oblong burger ( the burger was a sad pattie wrapped in a plain egg omelet filled with their sauce in a plain simple bun) cost $6/ not worth $1.50 and not worth the hype. Sad the say, I should have know better than order half a lobster at a fast food type restaurant. Save your money and go elsewhere for fresh good tasting lobster. The only thing great at this place was the staff who were very polite and pleasant.

For a shop named Beef Bro, you would expect that they know their way around handling and cooking beef. We ordered the beef short rib cubes and they were: 1. Bland 2. Tough 3. Overcooked 4. Barely any seasoning 5. Dry Horrible, and we couldn’t finish it despite paying quite a bit for the regular portion. It was extremely disappointing and so bad. The salmon rice bowl was okay, the scrambled eggs with rice was a truly bizarre combination. The eggs were bland and doesn’t go well with the rice. Salmon was cooked decently, but slightly too dry for our liking. My partner also had the ramly beef burger. He didn’t like it and couldn’t finish even half of it, especially the bread. It was soggy and of bad quality. Will not return for sure. 2 stars is for the decently cooked salmon.

Nasi lemak rice was mushy, likely overcooked. Mentaiko beef cube portion was good. The beef cubes were well done and a bit tough. Mentaiko did not complement the taste of beef. Can try once to see if their taste is to your liking.
