Taiwanese bubble tea artisans renowned for hand-shaken drinks and chewy tapioca pearls since 1998.
CHICHA San Chen traces its roots to Taiwan's vibrant bubble tea culture, and its outlets in Singapore uphold the same commitment to hand-shaken drinks and freshly cooked tapioca pearls. The brand differentiates itself through a meticulous preparation process — tea is brewed to precise temperatures and shaken by hand to achieve the right balance of flavour and aeration, while the boba is cooked in small batches to maintain its signature chewy, springy texture.
The menu covers the full spectrum of bubble tea: classic pearl milk tea, brown sugar boba, taro milk, and fruit teas, with customisable sugar and ice levels. Each drink is made to order, ensuring freshness that mass-produced alternatives struggle to match. The Star Vista outlet follows the same format as the rest of the chain, with a compact, efficient counter designed for takeaway rather than lingering. Prices are in line with Singapore's premium bubble-tea tier, reflecting the craftsmanship that goes into each cup. If you appreciate bubble tea that is shaken, not stirred, and pearls that are freshly cooked rather than pre-made, CHICHA San Chen is a choice that rewards the purist. It is Taiwan's boba tradition, delivered one carefully shaken cup at a time.

Previous staff was better, able to preorder and make just before collection time. existing ones just make at the point of order and leave it at the side. why was there a need to change the staff if the previous team was good?

My favourite bubble tea brand! Drink it at least 1-2 times a week! They are having fantasy series promotion now, 2 cups at $6.80! Hope it’s as good as my favourite dong ding oolong with cream.

It was Friday 1pm and they were soo busy I waited 15-20 mins for my order. Nonetheless the staff were all friendly & polite. Drinks were made well (not diluted like some outlets) and I’ll be willing to go through this wait time again!
