I bought the cheesy baked rice, spicy tomato sauce and mushroom. It was a thin layer of cheese + some mushrooms mixed with a bit of spicy sauce. A whole lot of PLAIN unbaked rice inside. This is not baked rice. This is plain rice with cheese and sauce.

Visited the place last week. The waiter on duty was friendly and helpful. Food was okay but disappointed by the sides. Had opted for onion rings to go along with my mains. They gave me 4 pathetic onion ring..aiyo, my heart pain. Music played was too loud. We were there at 850pm, understand you're closing but I still have 40 minutes and it's basic manners to accommodate to the remaining customers. Overall still a decent place to pop by for lunch or dinner.

Had a lunch with my lovely wife and we did enjoy the atmosphere and helpful staffs. For the food, it's marvelous...

Ordered chicken and sausage. My hubby ordered beef and sausage. Quite a disappointment. Both chicken and beef are dry and fully charred. even the mushroom sauce served has the charred thingy inside, taste not like mushroom at all. Management should consider regular cleaning on their grill place. The only food that I have enjoyed is the mushroom soup, butter corn and the sausage.

Food was surprisingly better than I remember - always saw it as more of an after-school haunt for students (cos of their build your own rice/pasta). Tried the Fried Chicken $11.80 (can select 2 sides from a list of eg. mash/veg/onion rings/cold pasta salad etc), and root beer fish and chips $14.80 (fixed sides). Portions were ok, just nice to finish the meal. For the fish and chips: Plum powder tartar sauce was a bit strange, felt it paired better with the chicken actually (then it tasted like taiwanese fried chicken). You can ask for ketchup/chilli sauce. The fry on both the chicken and fish were great, crisp even when they were getting cold. Fries/onion rings were pretty standard- but it all came out freshly fried so that’s a plus (food took about 10-15mins to arrive). Sautéed veg was v buttery No promo since we’re no longer students, FYI they don’t serve water - bottled water needs to be purchased. Service staff were curt but efficient so I don’t mind it. Background noise was quite loud (weekend in a mall), so not the best ambience if you’re looking for a quiet place.
