Gochi-So Shokudo ごち惣食堂 @ Westgate at Westgate

Absolutely satisfying meal! The katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside — no greasy aftertaste at all. The set came with fresh shredded cabbage, tasty sauces, and a warm bowl of miso soup that tied everything together. Even the skewers had a delicious crunch and great flavor. Portions were generous for the price, and the presentation made everything look extra appetizing. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving a hearty Japanese meal.

First time visiting and I was not disappointed! Tried the chicken katsu mix with curry and it came with chicken katsu, ebi fry, crab cream croquettes which paired really well with the flavourful curry and the well cooked rice. The staff are warm and attentive and the atmosphere makes it better. Definitely worth trying!

Food is very nice I like this new promotion [Yossha!Katsu Kingu Set] is very full but no serve drink in this set need to add on $6.50 or $5.50 then can get a set hope next time this kind of promotion can have a drink inside the set ! Service is best also give a review can get free konjac jelly.

Had the promo shabu shabu for lunch. Totally worth it. I came before 12pm. Place was not crowded and service was friendly and fast. The iberico slices were thin and flavourful and the assortment of veg (cabbage and tomato) and mushrooms gave a nice balance. I enjoyed it so much that I only remembered to take a photo when I was down to the last slice of meat. Set came with rice. Meat portion was sufficient for me. Doing this review also mean I end my meal with a yummy dessert - peach flavoured jelly. Definitely recommend this promo set. Suppose to end by 31 Mar.
