Quick-service Korean eatery dishing out bibimbap, stews, and K-style fried chicken without the wait.
JIN Kimchi Express is a quick-service Korean restaurant that brings the bold, comforting flavours of Korean cuisine to the food-court setting without the wait or the price tag of a full-service Korean establishment.
The menu covers the essentials: bibimbap in hot stone bowls with a crackly rice crust, kimchi jjigae and sundubu jjigae simmering with tofu and pork, and Korean-style fried chicken with a sweet-spicy glaze. Each dish arrives quickly, portions are generous, and the banchan (side dishes) of kimchi and pickled vegetables add the requisite tang and crunch.
The stall format means you sacrifice tableside service and the ritual of grilling your own meat, but you gain speed, convenience, and affordability. Prices are moderate, making Korean food accessible as an everyday lunch option rather than a special-occasion meal. For anyone craving a quick, satisfying hit of gochujang, kimchi, and sesame oil without committing to a full Korean BBQ experience, JIN Kimchi Express delivers the core flavours of Korean comfort food in a fast, practical format.
Wife used to order the Kimchi before and it was quite flavourful. Unsure of what happened, but their Kimchi Signature Stew was very bland, and their banchan Kimchi was also very bland (seemed to be lacking fermentation). It seems like enhancing the quality control could really make a difference. Gave them 2 stars because the rice is well cooked pearl rice and sufficient portion.

Omg WHATT??? This is LEGIT so damn affordable and it's REALLY GOOD, have you guys even tried other Korean places? My first time trying and I was skeptical, but after I collected I'm SHOCKED, DAMN WORTH, and TASTES GOOD. Some kopitiam food store charges SO MUCH, the portion like for bird to eat one NGL, I give extra thumbs up for the boss, rly is value for $ and good I think I will religiously come back for more whenever I see any of their outlets now.

Jin Kimchi express has few outlets around Singapore. One of their signature menus, is their kimchi tofu soup. This comes with rice and side dishes like kimchi and long beans. Overall, the food was okay. Pricing wise was affordable.

Had the Kimchi Stew Set at JIN Kimchi Express, and it hit the spot perfectly. The stew came bubbling hot, with a rich, tangy broth that had just the right level of spice and depth of flavor. You could really taste the fermented goodness of their house kimchi – bold, savory, and not overly sour. The set came with tofu, soft pork slices, and vegetables in the stew, along with a side of steamed rice and a few small banchan (side dishes). Everything complemented the main dish well, making it a wholesome and satisfying meal. Portion size was solid for the price, and it felt like real Korean comfort food, even in a quick-service setting. Perfect for a rainy day or whenever you need something warm and filling.

The grill pork rice and bibimbap is nice!
bibimbap got big and small portion which is nice for those who don’t want to eat more!
Kimchi is delicious too but kimchi soup is a bit too sour for me but still acceptable.
