My chicken ramen soup was indeed bland. I think someone mentioned the lack of taste before. The thing is, out of 3 bowls we ordered, 2 were quite ok (umami with a hint of saltiness), so I suspect the chef didn't put soy sauce into my bowl. So yeah...I think the quality and consistency can be improved.

Scallop Spicy Ramen, great option for anyone who loves spicy, hearty ramen.

The restaurant is infested by flies and staff seems to have accepted the infestation and are not doing anything about it. I initially noticed a fly flying around my table upon being seated at the restaurant and brushed it off as an occasional fly that one might encounter. However once I was done ordering, I noticed that there was a bunch of flies resting on the leaves of the decoration right next to my head. We also noticed that almost every empty table had at least 2-3 flies resting on its surface. We pointed out the issue of flies nesting on all their decorations, dividers, chairs and tables, but the staff simply said that they were an establishment that sold meat and flies were inevitable and nothing can be done as they do not use insecticides or fly killers. We requested for a change of table to a recently vacated table that seemed cleaner but the staff cited it was dinner time and could not accommodate us, even though there were many empty tables around at 7pm. She eventually moved us to another smaller table after chasing off several flies and wiping the surfaces again. This truly soured my dining experience knowing that environmental hygiene is of low importance at this restaurant. I can only imagine what the state of the kitchen is like if the eating area is of this state. The response from the wait staff gives me the impression that they are aware of this issue but are unable to intervene. The management of this restaurant needs to be more proactive in management of pest and hygiene issues.
