Dishes were light on the palate. The signature chicken soup was disappointing, with mostly chicken bones and little meat, and strong cabbage taste. The cabbage with fried bean curd skin, cod fish and the yam dessert were good. Food, service and atmosphere were good overall, but a tad overpriced for simple fare.

Came in on a whim after I noticed all the Michelin signs and it was not too busy on a Tuesday evening. Beautiful interiors and very good service. The soup was so flavorful and refreshing. The sesame noodles were excellent. Will definitely come again.

Tried this place recently and was pleasantly surprised! The chili was absolutely awesome—a Chinese-style blend that paired perfectly with the small prawns. It went especially well with the prawn crackers. The braised pork intestines, collar meat, and seaweed were all delicious—flavorful without being overly sweet. The rice was another highlight: generous enough to be shared between two people, and the mushroom rice in particular is a must-order. The only slight letdowns were the 3 wine chicken, which had meat that was a bit tough, and the vegetables, which were a little on the oily side. Overall, though, it was a good experience. The food was tasty and at an acceptable level for the price paid. Would definitely return to try more dishes!

We enjoyed our lunch. Simple and yet nutritious. Ambience is nice with good music. Staff is less friendlier. There is low traffic as it’s about 2.40pm on sat. The serving staff seem to be eager to clear the plates while we are still slipping the last bit of soup. I didn’t like this. Otherwise all is ok.

I particularly enjoyed the spicy sesame noodles, pig ears and interesting, chicken soup with cordyceps and the taro toast for dessert. I thought the portion of the spicy sesame noodles was quite small but it was very filling upon finishing. It was packed with hinge of numbness along with the salty sesame sauce. The soup is good for two pax and it came with good amount of cabbage. We went on Sunday night and it wasn’t too crowded. Price is a little bit higher compared to the Taiwan one but the taste is quite close.
