Nanyang-style kopi, kaya toast, and traditional breakfast at Hillion Mall.
Nan Yang Dao at Hillion Mall is a traditional Nanyang-style coffee shop that celebrates the rich heritage of Southeast Asian kopi culture, serving freshly brewed kopi and kaya toast the way it has been enjoyed for generations.
The brand takes its name from the Nanyang region -- the historical Chinese term for Southeast Asia -- and its menu reflects the multicultural, Peranakan-influenced food traditions that define the Singapore breakfast experience.
The menu features traditional kopi and teh brewed the old-school way with a sock filter, alongside kaya toast with butter, soft-boiled eggs, and classic breakfast sets. The Hillion Mall outlet at B2-26/27 offers additional items such as mee siam, lontong, and nasi lemak for those seeking a heartier meal, and the shop operates from 9:30am to 10pm daily, making it a convenient stop from morning to evening. For a taste of old Nanyang in a modern mall setting, Nan Yang Dao at Hillion Mall brews tradition into every cup. It is the kopi and kaya toast experience, kept alive and well.
Ordered the Dry Curry Noodle and was disappointed with fake photo shown in the menu. The ingredients that arrived was to mostly different from what’s shown in the menu, and the reply from the kitchen was that the menu have changed? Such lackluster and deceptive behavior should be corrected if they don’t want to wind up next year.

Small table which couldn't accommodate the ordered food. Food is ok but don't order the tea. It is a rip-off. See illustrated photo of the menu photo and actual tea of 8 treasure tea. Taste is terribly bland. All in all, it isn't worth the price paid.

The place is crowded and tiny. The servers and cashier are rude and unfriendly. There is only QR code on the table. When I asked for the menu, they unwillingly gave it to me and asked me to order immediately without giving me time to read through the menu. The queue system is illogical. The dine in customers have to queue with takeaway customers.
The only saving grace is that the food is good! The Chendol is delicious but they serve dessert as the first dish. The nasi
lemak with curry chicken taste authentic and fresh. The lala bee hoon is delicious and generous in serving. They even added Chinese wine to the dish. The fried rice with salted egg pork chop was delicious and generous in serving too!
So, it’s a place to come to eat for the nice food but I will recommend to send all the serving staffs for training. Only, 1 staff who was clearing the dishes was polite. I think a good eatery need to make customers feel comfortable and happy eating at their eatery.

Like a Singapore version Orixxxxl Kopi, food is above average.
But the service might need to have some improve.

Both my friend and I had sweet and sour pork rice and we top up $1 for the lime juice. The pork is too sweet and the lime juice is too sour.
