Famous hawker wanton mee from Old Airport Road, now serving at Hillion Mall level 2.
Old Airport Road Wanton Noodle brings its renowned hawker heritage to Hillion Mall, replicating the flavours that made the original Old Airport Road stall a long-time favourite.
The menu centres on springy noodles tossed in a savoury chilli-laced sauce, accompanied by plump wantons and char siew, with both dry and soup options available.
The Hillion Mall outlet retains the same recipe and quality, bringing a taste of one of Singapore's beloved hawker institutions to the Bukit Panjang neighbourhood. Visit Old Airport Road Wanton Noodle at Hillion Mall when you want hawker-class wanton mee without the trek across the island.

"I recently tried the wantan mee, and while it was a decent meal, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The noodles were cooked well, but the flavor was somewhat lackluster and could use more seasoning. The dumplings were nice but didn’t stand out. Overall, it was an average experience. I believe there’s potential for improvement, especially in enhancing the flavor profile of the dish.

This is for the CCK civic centre food fare outlet as I could not locate this in google reviews. Vietnamese female staff added the extra soya sauce veg into the noodles without asking or even informing. Told in a rude manner to add 30 cents if I wanted to separate them. Aren’t they different dishes in the first place why does she feel they ought to be put together and what was wrong with the attitude and the nagging?

Had the SIGNATURE WANTON NOODLE. Noodle is chewy which is good. Char siew meat is tasty and tender while the wantons have enough filling in them. Overall it's good but the portion is small @ $5.50.

Ordered 1 signature wanton mee & 1 Chicken cutlet noodle. I think the taste, is really normal & the actual presentation is distinctively different from illustration. (The cutlet looks fantastic on the menu but actually when it's on the bowl... Oh well...) But, my kids like it, that's most important. So it's a 3 star 👍

Decent bowl of dry wanton noodles! Love that there’s the option for black sauce or the classic. I opt for the classic with spice, chilli pack a punch too however takeout & dine-in seems different when it comes to how DRY it should be served??? The takeout had too much liquid 🥲 I understand that usually extra liquid/sauce would be added for takeout as chef would take into account that it might get too dry bcs of the journey home or wherever you’re gg before you actually consume it…. BUT THIS WAS WAAAAY TOO MUCH I for a second almost thought that I ordered soup wanton noodles 💀☠️ still 5 ⭐️ stars though bcs I appreciate the ongoing promo of free wantons for every two mains purchased 🥹 Wanton noodles toppings are generous too, just need some space for lil improvements here & there for consistency!!!! keep it up 🩷🩷
