Japanese-Italian fusion pizza at JEM — creative toppings on crispy crusts.
Pizzakaya at JEM offers a creative twist on traditional pizza by blending Japanese ingredients and flavours with Italian pizza-making techniques, resulting in uniquely topped pies that stand out in Singapore's pizza scene.
The menu features inventive creations like mentaiko shrimp pizza, teriyaki chicken pizza, and unagi pizza, each built on a crispy, thin crust that balances crunch with chew. The JEM outlet on Level 1 provides a casual, modern dining space where pizza lovers can explore these East-meets-West flavour combinations.
Beyond the signature fusion pizzas, the menu includes classic Italian varieties for purists, alongside sides like garlic bread, salads, and dessert pizzas. The open kitchen concept lets diners watch their pizzas being assembled and baked, adding a touch of theatre to the meal. Portions are generous, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality and creativity on offer, making it suitable for both solo diners and groups looking to share. For anyone curious about what happens when Tokyo meets Naples, Pizzakaya at JEM is the answer. Order a mentaiko pizza, share a slice, and discover a new favourite flavour combination.
Not the first time visiting this place and I am very happy that they still maintained their standards in terms of food taste and service. The restaurant is absolutely spacious and kids-friendly. Love their interesting menu spread of pizza and pasta. The recent one we tried was the turkey bacon with chives cream pasta and it's absolutely deliciously acceptable for a non-cream pasta fan like my husband as the cream was not over powering and tasted well. Their fries/truffle fries is also a must-eat because it taste crisp even when left out in the open for some time. Their service crew are also super friendly and fast in reacting to our requests.

Pizzakaya offers a delightful and creative blend of Japanese-Italian fusion cuisine that truly stands out. The menu showcases a unique combination of flavors that you won't find elsewhere. Every dish we tried had its own twist, starting with the fresh and crisp Caesar salad topped with savory bacon bits, which was a perfect start to the meal. Their fried chicken, crispy and flavorful on the outside while tender and juicy inside, was served with two types of dipping sauces that paired wonderfully with the chicken. The pasta had a delightful balance of umami flavors, with well-seasoned chicken and topped with crispy seaweed and almonds, adding a nice crunch to the dish. The highlight was their pizza, featuring perfectly charred, airy crust topped with smoky meats, earthy mushrooms, and a generous handful of arugula. The flavors were bold and well-executed, making each bite a fusion of traditional Italian pizza with a refreshing Japanese twist. If you're looking for a place where creativity meets flavor, Pizzakaya is a must-visit!

Walked in attracted by the pizza pictures. Looks beautifully delicious and mouth watering. Had the Supreme Meat Pizza. The dough is so fluffy, and it has substantial portions of meat and mushrooms. The mozzarella could have been more generous, and the pizza could have reached a different level. A quiet atmosphere during a weekday evening. Service is friendly and accommodating.

Casual dining restaurant which serves Italian food with a Japanese twist. The pizza we ordered was made well -- had a nice thin crust and adequate toppings. Would have been nice if they had chili flakes available.
The curry tonkatsu was really flavourful and had a mild spicy tang into it.

This fusion pizza chain offers a good amount of options for everyone. Ordered a Teriyaki Chicken Pizza that I would recommend and a Creamy Ravioli that I would advise to avoid as it is just dumplings drenched in cream. Service crew is really friendly and food came out quickly. Good recommendation!
