Tried the tai Wah pork noodle stall as it has the longest queue. Soup is very rich and flavour infused yet mild and not salty. Would recommend this if u need a hearty soup to warm your heart. Queue wise for this stall, more than 15 mins during peak hours.

Really yummy meepok! 👍🏻 love the salted fish and tender pork slices. Soup was great too.
It's only $5.90 for the mixed pork noodles. The staff was kind enough to customize my order (no liver). Clean food court too.

I ordered the kuay teow minced meat noodle
-I recomend their kway teow as it can absorb the vinegar taste in it.
-The price was a bit unreasonable (but the food from the hawker there is expensive so it is reasonable)
-The pork liver was cooked just right
-The other ingredients were quite okay I also wanted to thank the store vendor for asking me "do u want pork liver?"

When you approach a stall with the legacy and reputation of Tai Wah, the bar is set inherently high. This review reflects not just the quality of the dish, but whether it truly delivers an extraordinary experience worthy of its famous brand status and premium pricing. I tried the Signature Tai Wah Pork Noodles (Dry) along with a side of Meatball Soup. The execution of the ingredients was certainly top-tier. The pork slices, liver, dumplings, and that critical element, the fried sole fish, were all cooked well, showcasing fresh ingredients and expert preparation that delivered a nice balance of textures and flavours. In the soup, the meatballs were delightfully bouncy and well-seasoned, and the broth itself had a comforting depth, beautifully enhanced by bits of fried pork lard and seaweed. Crucially, the seasoning of the dry noodles was flavourful without being overwhelming. The noodles themselves were cooked well—they were satisfyingly al dente, absorbing the sauce effectively, but I prefer them just a slightly tad firmer (I know, it's a nitpick). The challenge lies in the final verdict. While this was an undeniably good bowl of bak chor mee—technically well executed and richly flavoured—it lacked the "je ne sais quoi" that justifies a high-expectation, high-price brand premium. It was a very good, classic rendition, but nothing truly out of the ordinary or innovative that set it significantly apart from other very good stalls across the island. The meal was satisfying, but it didn't provide the expected "wow" moment that seals a five-star rating and justifies the extra cost. Verdict: A spot that consistently delivers fresh ingredients and hearty, classic flavours. It’s a solid, reliable choice, but while it achieves well technically, it doesn't quite elevate the dish enough to meet the legendary expectations its brand and price tag create. Worth trying, but manage your expectations for the extraordinary.
