Have been here many times, our family likes the 蒜香烤鱼 very much. Staffs are friendly and service is good that’s why we kept coming back.

Had dinner with my family at Tanyu Westgate and really enjoyed it! We ordered the soy grilled seabass and grilled eggplant both were filling and tasted great. Most importantly, they have a kid’s meal that’s perfect for my toddler. We also loved that everyone got ice cream at the end.

Tanyu has a couple of outlets, and I’ve eaten this before but felt this deserved a review. Being one of the restaurants that offer Chongqing grilled fish, it feels like one of the many in the current Singapore scene - so to say it isn’t bad, but neither is it fantastic. If you were to have asked me this 5 years ago, Tanyu would have gotten an easy 4/5. But with the standard so high with more affordable options at food courts, hawker centres that arguably taste similar if not better for the price - you’re basically paying for the service and air conditioning. Service is still pretty good - attentive and proactive. Would I come back? If I was in a group and we wanted to have grilled fish in a comfortable setting, sure.

Me and my family really enjoy dining here! Been here multiple times and we always order the grilled fish with green pepper for the kick! Love the Sichuan Spicy Chicken as well :)

Went to Tanyu at Westgate with my sister and son and we had such a nice meal. We ordered the green pepper grilled fish with the golden combination – super tasty and full of flavor. The cold mushroom was refreshing and the grilled honey toast was a fun sweet treat at the end. My son had the sliced fish kids meal, which came in a really cute tray and he loved it! The Shine Muscat drink was light and refreshing too. The staff were really friendly – we were warmly greeted when we arrived, and they took the time to explain the dishes clearly, which made ordering so easy. Overall, food was delicious, service was excellent, and it’s a great spot for families. We’ll definitely be back again!
