Tokyo Shokudo (Westgate) at Westgate

The food was normal. But the service was really bad. I ordered and waited for more than 20mins. There was a group of ladies who came into the shop and ordered ala cart items just like me. But they were served first. Upon checking with the Staff, the shop realised that they forgotten my order. I was furious but I still paid my bill, including the service charge. The place was not crowded but it was the nonchalant attitude that is apparent and caused the missed item. The key point was that I had to check-in with them before they started preparing my ordered food. In view of this, if I had to come back to this shop again, I’ll order and double confirm with the shop if my order had been processed and focused. This is in addition to them printing the ordered items paper and put it on the table. Because they forgot after they printed and put the paper on my table. I was appalled at the service. I would give zero if possible.

Oh man, I’ve never had a steamboat this bad. The meat here is atrociously terrible. Try it if you don’t believe me — this is by far the worst steamboat I’ve had in Singapore. To be fair, the soup is decent and the staff’s service is alright. But the buffet itself? The meat quality is Criminally bad. The raw chicken is left sitting at room temperature, and the so-called “beef” tastes like you’re chewing on a dishwashing glove. The menu shows images of short plate beef, but what you actually get is more like tough collar or shoulder cuts. Absolutely disappointing.

Food variety was worse then seoul garden the drinks is not on the dispensing machine but in containers which may deem to be a big unhygenic soup is still ok but will get salty as you cook more food in it some will prefer the chicken to be skinless but there is alot skin on the chicken the marshmellows are fast gone always the ice cubes is exposed to the air which have no protection the waiters always wait till your soup is going to dry then top up for us overall is not worth the 5 stars like other branches.
