Heritage kaya toast and half-boiled eggs, a Singapore breakfast icon at IMM.
Ya Kun Kaya Toast at IMM, located at #01-50, is an outlet of the legendary Singapore kaya toast brand that traces its roots back to 1944, when it began as a humble coffee stall in Singapore's old commercial district.
Today, Ya Kun is synonymous with the quintessential Singapore breakfast of crispy kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs, and kopi, a trio that defines the local morning ritual.
The menu features the signature kaya toast, where thinly sliced bread is grilled over charcoal to a satisfying crisp and spread with fragrant coconut-egg kaya and a slab of butter, served alongside two soft-boiled eggs seasoned with soy sauce and white pepper. The beverage menu offers the full range of traditional Singapore kopiti drinks from kopi and teh to yuan yang and iced variations, alongside newer offerings such as toastwiches and value set meals that combine the classics. Whether you are starting your day the Singapore way or craving a nostalgic afternoon snack, Ya Kun Kaya Toast at IMM serves up heritage on a plate. Order the classic set, dip your toast, and savour a tradition that spans generations.
A must try at one of Ya Kun outlets if you are a tourist in Singapore, that is if you are game to take half boiled eggs. Outlets are typically cramp and having limited seats. Good for early morning breakfast. This outlet in IMM Building is usually crowded. Opens at 0730H.

If you are looking for an awesome tea at IMM mall then this is the place. The tea preparation follows the traditional Singapore approach but has an Indian Chai taste....The tea is on the stronger side which I like 👍 👌 😉

Toast is good, like the steam bread too. Coffee is nice except feeling the cup size getting smaller.. 😆, not enough to drink. Eggs are perfectly done. The dining area abit cramp.

Ya Kun never fails in delivering quality drinks and snack. The IMM branch was very efficient during my visit.

After the Reno, the aunties here recently are godly at making the signature yakun toast, rivalling the defunct yakun toast at HV last time.
Tea is also well made by the young chap.
